Our Mission
Carrizozo Music’s mission is to enrich lives and enhance community by producing and sharing extraordinary LIVE! music performances and music-integrated, educational opportunities in spaces and places which welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
We believe that music is transformative, and we aim to broaden perspectives, increase knowledge through experience and education, and advance music appreciation by providing inclusive music performances with emphasis on creating access where opportunities to enjoy LIVE! music may be otherwise limited.
Carrizozo Music supports School Outreach Programs that include concerts, workshops, demonstrations and music-oriented student activities.
We provide opportunities for contemporary, living musicians to perform to new audiences in unique, often under-served, settings where mutual appreciation abounds and connections thrive.
Our goal to provide platforms for musical expression while creating shared, joyful experiences that bring neighbors and visitors together, fosters a more vibrant and connected region for everyone. Our dedication extends beyond entertainment; it is an investment in the collective well-being and vitality of our community.
