Funded entirely by donations and grants and run by volunteers, Music in the Parks endeavers to bring quality programs to Carrizozo and the surrounding communities.

All summer concerts take place from 5-7 PM at McDonald Park on Rt. 54 in Carrizozo. Pack a picnic or help a local non-profit by buying dinner and a soda at the park. Bring a lawn chair and join us for a delightful evening!

In case of inclement weather, summer concerts will be moved to the Woman's Club on 11th at D Ave. For more information and updates, check the website at www.carrizozomusic.org or call Elaine Brannen at 575-648-2757.

Yes, we are still having our fireworks display. There will be no personal fireworks allowed due to extreme conditions. Obviously if the weather is bad, especially if it is windy, we will cancel ours as well  .We have taken a lot of precautionary measures to make sure our display is safe including assistance from Nogal & White Oaks fire departments who will be bringing extra fire trucks and men.

Please forward any questions to me as I should know up to the minute what is happening with our display.

Happy Holidays!!
